Josh Cagwin

FOUNDER & Head Coach

Josh is a runner and athlete who races 50k-100 mile endurance runs & Ironman Triathlons. A former collegiate track & field athlete & record holder in the hurdle events, he has been involved with running and multiple sports since childhood.

Coaching experience:

• 14 yrs. as a run coach. Track & Field, Cross Country, Sprinters, Hurdlers, Distance Runners, Ultra Marathoners & Triathletes.

• USATF Registered Coach
• Speed & Agility Coach - NSPA
• Weightlifting Performance Coach - NSPA
• SafeSport trained & background checked
• 5 yrs. coaching triathletes (sprint to full 140.6 distance)
• 9 yrs. working with Crossfit athletes to improve their aerobic capacity & balance endurance training with their Crossfit program
• 5 yrs. as a high school football coach (offensive coordinator, QB’s, WR’s & RB’s)
• Crossfit Endurance Certified
• Mental Training: Spent 9 yrs. in the field of Psychology working with acute child adolescents & adults

 

Melanie Downes

Mel has worked as a Sports Performance coach since 2012. She brings together her knowledge of the Olympic lifts and her experience working in the mental health field to create an empathetic, safe space for athletes to reach their goals. She uses a variety of movements from different sports/domains to increase skill development and preparedness. Mel is available for 1:1 coaching and small group classes.
